Mississippi's Uncovered Glory

Jerome Gentry was the starting nose guard for the 1975 Robert M. Callaway high school football team that went on to win the State Championship.  This team was the first team in the state of Mississippi to record a 12-0 record.  This team also is the last team in over 50 years from the Jackson Mississippi metro area to go undefeated and rank as the No.1 team in the state. He was described by head coach Charles Allman as “the smallest nose guard in the world at 5’6” 144lb”.  Following high school Jerome attended Jackson State University on an athletic scholarship where he received a B.S. Degree in Accounting.  And later he received his MBA Degree from Mississippi College.  After College Jerome started his career in corporate America as a bank auditor and later achieved the designation as a CFSA (Certified Financial Services Auditor).  He is now a small business owner in the Jackson Mississippi metro area assisting individuals and business owners in income tax consultant and business coaching.  Jerome is presently working on his second book project that will be arriving sometime next year.  This book reflects on his business career in how small business owners can successfully succeed with their entrepreneurial goals.  He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Deanna and Mia.
